Assistance Desperately Needed in Haiti

We are all aware of the devastation that has fallen on
Haiti on January 12 at 16:53. In the aftermath, thousands have been injured and are in need of medically assisted transport.

Global Angel Charitable Organization is seeking assistance in order to assist in this effort.

We have already received numerous requests for assistance and anticipate that the need will continue to grow.  Global Angel is continuously kept apprised of the situation by our network of medical professionals within Haiti.  Global Angel has been involved with the Haiti Relief Effort since Wednesday, January 13, 2010.

As a benevolent organization it is our mandate to assist anyone who is in need of medical assisted evacuation. Global Angel is working in conjunction with Angels of Flight Canada to secure air transport to and from Haiti for medical teams as well as assisting with medical evacuations. To accomplish this, we need donations from people like you wishing to assist others within our global community.

In Canada medical transport is not covered by provincial health insurance outside of province of residence. The additional financial burden to families for medical transport away from home can be the determining factor in whether their loved one can actually receive  life-saving a treatment. 

Global Angel Charitable Organization also assists those requiring in-flight medical care to return to their home countries globally to recover surrounded by family and friends. We rely on the support of all persons in communities along with the generousity of corporations, business and volunteers to achieve our goals.

Global Angel Charity Organization was founded by the Courneyea family in Peterborough Ontario Canada in memory of their daughter Carole who passed away at the age of twenty two years after a brief battle with leukemia.
